Interior repair after an accident
Seats, door cards and seat belts after a collision — rebuilding the damaged parts instead of replacing the whole set.
More about this serviceFrom Tczew we most often get interiors after a collision — a set of seats, door panels and the dashboard in a single trip.
After a bump the insurer usually prices replacing whole parts, because that is the simplest thing to calculate. Leather rarely needs it: a torn seat bolster, a split seam and a cracked coating on the dashboard are things to rebuild, not to throw away.
We fill damage with compound, recreate the leather grain around the repaired spot, re-stitch split seams and even out the colour over the whole surface — otherwise the repaired section would stand out in a fresher shade than the rest of the interior.
If you have an estimate from a garage or the insurer, bring it with you. It often turns out that the line “replace seat upholstery” can be swapped for a repair at a fraction of that figure — and it looks just the same.
Tczew is under an hour from Gdańsk. With a set of seats, one trip each way is enough, because we do the removal and refitting ourselves.
Each of these services has its own page — with a description, the course of work and photos.

More about this serviceHoles, worn-through areas and tears filled with compound, with the surrounding leather grain matched.
More about this serviceIf a seat, a rear bench or a panel has to come out — we do it in-house, without sending you to another garage.
More about this serviceIn an impact, leather rarely tears on its own. Most often a seam between panels opens up, the finish on the side of the seat cracks where the passenger was thrown into it, and the dashboard and door panels are left with scuffs from debris and seat belts. Each of these needs a different repair — and each costs less than a new part from the dealer.
We re-stitch an opened seam with thread matched to the original — in thickness, colour and stitch spacing. We back a crack from underneath with reinforcing fabric, fill the damage and recreate the grain, then colour the whole panel, not just the patch. Scuffs on the dashboard and centre console are levelled and sealed with a finish of the same sheen as the rest of the interior.
If the loss adjuster has priced a replacement of the upholstery, show us photos of the damage. We'll tell you which parts can be repaired and which really aren't worth saving — sometimes both in the same car.
The workshop is in Gdańsk, ul. Litewska 12 — Tczew is about 30 km away in a straight line.
Send a photo of the whole thing and a close-up of the damage, or just give us a call. From that we tell you whether it can be saved.
We give you the scope of work and the price. If restoration isn't worth it, we'll say so plainly — it happens, and it's better to hear it before than after.
Cleaning, damage repair, re-colouring, protection. On larger jobs we send you progress photos.
We tell you what to care for the leather with and what damages it fastest. That usually decides whether the result lasts for years.
The quickest way is this: a photo of the whole item, a close-up of the damage and a note on what the item or part is. On that basis we'll tell you whether it can be saved and what it will cost.
