Range of services

Car, furniture and yacht leather — repair, restoration and protection. Every job starts with photos or an inspection, because only then do we know whether the leather can be saved or has to be replaced. Below is the full scope in four sections: cars, furniture, yachts and specialist services.

Leather treatments

What the treatment names actually mean

These words appear in every price list in the trade and are almost never explained. Here's what they actually mean and when they make sense.

Softening

Leather exposed to the sun goes stiff — fastest of all in a car, because the windows act like a greenhouse. Hardened leather cracks at the folds, so softening is not cosmetics but stopping damage before it happens.

Painting and dyeing

Two different techniques. Pigmented car leather we paint with opaque colours; aniline and semi-aniline furniture leather we dye — an opaque coating would destroy their natural texture and grain.

Impregnation

Products that protect against UV radiation, water and dye transfer from clothing. The most common culprit behind stains on light upholstery is ordinary denim.

De-glossing

With long use, leather turns shiny wherever it's touched — on the steering wheel, the seat bolster, the armrest. De-glossing takes it back to its factory matt look.

Damage filling

We fill holes, tears and worn-through areas with compound, then recreate the leather grain around them. Without that second step the repair stays a smooth patch you can see from a metre away.

What we take on — and what we don't

Przyjmujemy

We do take handbags — cleaning, filling worn areas, re-colouring and leather protection are done exactly as with upholstery.

Nie przyjmujemy

We don't take leather clothing: gloves, coats or jackets. That is different leather, different dyes and a different technology, and with clothing there is also the cut and the lining — we would do it worse than workshops that do nothing else.

Send photos and we'll call you back with a quote

The quickest way is this: a photo of the whole item, a close-up of the damage and a note on what the item or part is. On that basis we'll tell you whether it can be saved and what it will cost.
