Marine upholstery
Yacht and motorboat interiors and decks. Materials resistant to sun, salt and moisture — in this environment ordinary furniture leather doesn't stand a chance.
More about this serviceFrom Słupsk and the coastal strip we get the most seasonal work: motorboat and yacht upholstery before launch or straight after the season.
Boat upholstery wears at a different rate from anything else: six months of full sun and salt, then six months under a cover where nothing dries out.
Ideally straight after the season, not a month before launch. That's when you can see what really needs replacing, there's time to order material, and the boat is laid up anyway.
Covers can usually be restored. The foam underneath — less often: once it has soaked up water it holds the damp and ruins everything from below, so we replace it together with the cover.
For boats we use materials resistant to UV, salt and damp, with seams run so that water doesn't collect in the stitching. Furniture leather lasts one season in that spot.
Słupsk is about two hours from Gdańsk. It's usually enough to bring just the seats and covers — the boat stays where it is.
Each of these services has its own page — with a description, the course of work and photos.

More about this serviceIf a seat, a rear bench or a panel has to come out — we do it in-house, without sending you to another garage.
More about this serviceProducts that protect against UV, water and denim dye transfer — the most common cause of stains on light-coloured seats.
More about this serviceOn a boat, leather and leather-like materials work in the worst possible conditions: sun reflected off the water, salt, moisture and constant changes in temperature. Ordinary furniture leather lasts one season in a place like that. That's why with yachts the choice of material matters more than the work itself.
We restore cockpit seats, cabin mattresses, backrests and hull-side panels. We run the seams so that water doesn't collect in the stitching, and choose foams that don't hold moisture. Finally, protection that resists salt and UV.
It's best to get in touch right after the season: the parts can be removed without hurry, there is time to order the material, and the boat is laid up anyway.
The workshop is in Gdańsk, ul. Litewska 12 — Słupsk is about 105 km away in a straight line.
Send a photo of the whole thing and a close-up of the damage, or just give us a call. From that we tell you whether it can be saved.
We give you the scope of work and the price. If restoration isn't worth it, we'll say so plainly — it happens, and it's better to hear it before than after.
Cleaning, damage repair, re-colouring, protection. On larger jobs we send you progress photos.
We tell you what to care for the leather with and what damages it fastest. That usually decides whether the result lasts for years.
The quickest way is this: a photo of the whole item, a close-up of the damage and a note on what the item or part is. On that basis we'll tell you whether it can be saved and what it will cost.
